PASTOR: Fr. James R.
Day, O.SS.T.
The
pastor of St. Ann Parish is Fr. James R. Day, O.SS.T. Fr. James is
originally from Philadelphia and entered the Trinitarians in 1963
after graduating from high school. He made his final profession of
vows in 1968 and was ordained a priest in 1972. Fr. James has
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, as well as a Master of
Education in Counseling and a Master of Divinity.
Fr. James has had
various ministry assignments including the formation of new
seminarians, as well as high school ministry. He has been involved
in leadership roles within the congregation, and then was asked to
assume the pastorate at St. Ann Church in June, 1993. Since then,
Fr. James has worked with the people of the parish to establish a
vibrant parish filled with a deep faith and commitment to the
Catholic faith. He enjoys his ministry, and the people of the
parish enjoy being part of the St. Ann story with him and the other
Trinitarians.
PAROCHIAL VICAR:
Fr. Thomas A. Morris, O.SS.T.
The other parochial Vicar for St. Ann Church is Fr. Tom who was born
in Malone, New York. He entered the Trinitarians at Baltimore in
1977 and made his final vows in September, 1981. Fr. Tom studied
theology at The Washington Theological Union and was ordained a
priest on December 12, 1981.
Fr. Tom's ministry assignments include parish ministry, hospital
chaplaincy, formation work with seminarians and retreat ministry. He
first came to St. Ann in l993 with Fr. James and remained here until
he was asked to resume his work with seminarians and retreat
ministry in l996. Fr. Tom was also involved in administrative work
with the Trinitarians in Baltimore for many years and returned to
St.Ann in January, 2004
PARISH ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Linda McNamara
Linda McNamara and her husband, George, have been members of St. Ann Parish for ten years, and they have also been volunteers in other ministries and groups within the parish. Ms. McNamara is responsible for all of the office-related areas of the parish, and is able to be reached directly through office@stannbristol.com. Ms. McNamara is continuing the electronic updating of the parish and its records and is the first contact with the people for St. Ann church.
VICE-CHAIR - PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: Rosemary Parmigiani
The Parish Pastoral Council is a vital part of the leadership of the
parish, and the current Vice-Chair is Ms. Rosemary Parmigiani. Ms.
Parmigiani is an active member of the parish and assists the pastor
in helping chart directions for the parish, as well as look at the
many areas of parish life which are so important to a successful
Church today. Ms. Parmigiani was elected by the parishioners to be
a member of the Parish Pastoral Council and elected by the Council
members to be its Vice-Chair.
PARISH PROJECTS MANAGER: Ralph DiGuiseppe
The Parish Projects Manager is Ralph DiGuiseppe, whose
responsibilities include the overseeing of any project of building,
repair or maintenance throughout the entire parish plant. In this
volunteer position, Mr. DiGuiseppe is responsible for quality
control in all projects, as well as securing the best possible
specifications and outcome of all improvements to the various
buildings. This position is nominated by the Pastor and confirmed
by the Parish Finance Council.
